I am a Ph.D. student in Robotics at Georgia Tech, working in the BioMedical Mechatronics (BM2) Lab advised by Dr. Yue Chen. Before joining Georgia Tech, I studied Mechanical Engineering (Elite Program) at Tsinghua University, with a minor in Computer Application. This interdisciplinary background has shaped my interest in robotics problems that bridge physical systems, mathematical modeling, and computational methods. My research spans robot learning and robot planning, with a particular focus on autonomous manipulation and surgical robotics.
My work broadly explores how learning and planning methods can enable robots to operate reliably despite limited and heterogeneous data, complex robot morphologies and configuration spaces, and uncertain interaction dynamics. My current interests include world models, imitation learning, vision-language-action models, and task and motion planning, particularly representations and models that support robust planning, adaptation, and execution in challenging real-world tasks.
